PDO Threads are made from Polydioxanone, an absorbable polymer that is both flexible and durable and has already been used successfully in surgical sutures. In addition to stimulating collagen growth, the Polydioxanone substance safely and naturally degrades in the body, producing a tightening effect within the skin for up to a year following treatment. Over time, the PDO thread will be totally absorbed by the body, having served as a support structure for your face and encouraging the creation of collagen and hyaluronic acid.
